At Second Baptist, we are a congregation on a journey, a journey towards Christlikeness, a journey that leads us to the pool of living water, an oasis for our weary souls, where we linger and bask in the shade of the palm trees and drink deeply from the cool, refreshing water, where we draw near to Christ through intentional spiritual practices, where we share life in purposeful community, where we are transformed, and where we are compelled to go and join God in calling others to join us on this journey and at this pool... Our neighborhood is changing rapidly around us. The countries and cultures represented in our backyard are myriad, and our church congregation and its ministries must reflect this.
