As Managing Partner of PMR Mike Robinson has spent over 30 years in the precious metals business. With his vast background in various segments of the precious metal, jewelry, and coin business, he brings an incredible amount of knowledge to PMR. Starting out at his fathers coin business at age 16, then becoming a licensed commodities broker, and finally 25 years in the pawn business, Mike is uniquely positioned to help customers of PMR with their refining, bullion, diamond needs, and more.
As a pawnbroker for 25 years, Mike developed a keen interest for the refining business and started refining gold as a hobby. Now he has turned that hobby into a business by offering professional refining services to the industry. Having been on the other side of the counter many times, he has dedicated himself to providing accurate, honest assays to his customers. Also as a pawnbroker, Mike was an executive member of the California Pawnbrokers Association for many years.
Mike's vision for PMR was for more than just a refinery. With his expertise in diamonds, watches, bullion, and jewelry, PMR has become the go to place for pawnbrokers, jewelers, and gold buyers to buy and sell gold, silver, diamonds, watches, jewelry and bullion.
