Dennis and I live in Richmond next to Garden Cottage. We lived in the cottage for around a year - and we like to be comfortable! - while we were building ourselves a new home, Mr. Yorke's Walled Garden (named for John Yorke, who built the 18th century walled kitchen garden for his Elizabethan home). We have made sufficient progress to open the garden for local causes and charities and in 2019 we received a Yorkshire In Bloom Gold Award for the gardens...
