Amie Spilman, RDH joined Dr. Dolenz' office in 2001. She is a graduate of Johnson County Community College, where she was the class president of the Student Association of Dental Hygienists of America. Amie, a long-time resident of Atchison, has two children and enjoys traveling, shopping, fitness, and nutrition. Amie and her husband Bruce are long-time residents of Atchison and together they have seven children and one grandchild. Amie enjoys traveling, shopping, fitness, nutrition, and serving her church through the loaves and fishes ministry.

John A. Dolenz, D.D.S. has been practicing dentistry in Atchison since 1998. Dr. Dolenz graduated from the honors program at Baylor with a BS in biology in 1986. He graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry in 1991. He served in the US Air Force from 1991-1995. His residency training was at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport, LA and served at bases in England and at Vance AFB in Enid, where he was a flight chief at the dental clinic.He attends numerous hours of continuing dental education yearly, as he progressively implements new technologies into the office. Dr. Dolenz has over 30 years of experience in providing patients with exceptional dental care. To enhance his skills, he attends numerous hours of continuing dental education yearly and now even performs dental implant services. He enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife Kay and their three children.

If you see Kay in the office, she probably has stopped to say hi. She learned a long time ago that she could either work in the office or be married to Dr. Dolenz, She chose to stay married. Kay works for USD 409 as Staff Accompanist. She plays for choirs at the high school, middle school, and elementary school. She enjoys travel, Alabama football, Chiefs football and spending time with her 3 adult children and ‘extras', Karis and Dan, Karl and Lindy, Bruce, and JoJo!

Laurie Tilton joined our team in 2012. She lives here in Atchison with her husband, Chuck. Laurie has three children and enjoys spending time with family, playing with her grandchildren, reading, and playing board games. She is active in her church and loves doing outreaches in the community.

Lisa Smith joined our office in January 2021. She lives in Muscotah, KS with her husband, Trever. She has four children and enjoys spending time with her family and watching her children play sports.

Lori Jones joined our office in the spring of 2018. She has been a dental assistant since 1986. Lori has three children and lives in Effingham. She enjoys watching the KC Chiefs play football and spending time with family.
