Arizona Community Leader and Public Policy Expert

Jake Logan is an Arizona community leader and public policy expert with 25 years of experience in business and politics. As President & CEO of the Association, he is charged with leading strategic planning, policy, communications, fundraising and other initiatives for the state's leading charter support organization. Logan brings to the role a wealth of knowledge about public education and charter schools. Previously, he served as an appointed member of the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools, including a stint as President. Logan was Regional Director and Campaign Manager for former U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl; and served as a Senior Adviser and Director of External Affairs for the Arizona House of Representatives. More recently, Logan was Regional Vice President for UnitedHealth Group. In this role, he was charged with advancing the organization's business and policy objectives in Arizona and nationally. Logan earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Arizona State University (1995); and completed the Executive Education program from Stanford University

Joell has been a consultant for businesses and non-for-profit clients in the areas of finance and accounting for over 15 years. She is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Masters in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. Joell has extensive experience serving a wide variety of clients of all sizes and industries. During her consulting career, she served as President and Chief Financial Officer for a medical device company based out of Florida. Her various client engagements have included forensic accounting, establishing financial internal controls and procedures, financial reporting, tax preparation services and risk management. Her experience and versatility have helped her develop a consulting business that specializes in accounting and finance solutions, fraud detection, risk assessment and internal controls.
