Ashley is an aesthetic nurse specialist working alongside Dr. Haven Barlow. She specializes as a surgical nurse, nurse injector and skin care specialist. Ashley listens to her patients concerns and addresses them as an individual. She provides her patients with a customized treatment plan specific to their personal needs. Her treatment specialties include aesthetic injectables such as Botulinum Toxin and dermal fillers. She continues her training to stay knowledgeable on the newest products, technology, and techniques.
If you have the privilege of meeting Dr. Barlow, you will meet Ashley. She works alongside Dr. Barlow to address surgical needs. She is an excellent resource during a patient's surgical experience, including before and after surgery. She is readily available to ease patients concerns as they go through their journey of plastic surgery.
Chris has been in the Nursing field for over 20 years. She started working in the Plastic Surgery field 18 years ago as a Recovery Room Nurse. The Aesthetic side of Plastic Surgery took her for great interest and she has been an injector since then.
Graduating from Western Kentucky University, Chris found her way to the Burn and Trauma Unit at Washington Hospital Center. From there, she adapted her Nursing skills and recovered surgery patients.
Chris continues to learn all the cutting edge techniques on injecting and lasers, from Botox and Juvederm, to laser resurfacing in Annapolis, MD. These techniques go hand in hand with medical grade skincare and correcting the damage from the sun and aging factors.
She lives in Crofton with her husband and 2 young children.
Dr. Barlow has been a Plastic Surgeon in McLean, Virginia for over three decades. He is highly regarded by his patients and peers for his surgical skill and aesthetic appreciation. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, as well as the Aesthetic Society. Dr. Barlow has had a long standing relationship with Inova Fairfax Hospital, and has been rated one of Washingtonian magazine's "Top Doctors" since 1992. His philosophy is based upon recognizing that each patient has individual needs and expectations. He ensures that each patient will approach surgery with a full understanding of their procedure, as well as with a realistic expectation of their surgical results.
Dr. Haven J. Barlow has been specializing in plastic surgery for 30 years and has held rank as the Chief of Plastic Surgery for 17 years at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia. He is consistently named one of the best plastic surgeons in the DC Metropolitan area by Washingtonian Magazine since 1992,and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Barlow has been recognized by his peers and numerous publications for his expertise in both facial rejuvenation and body contouring. Stella has worked in the plastic surgery field for 14 years. She ensures the practice runs smoothly, overseeing all aspects of the surgical and non-surgical sides. Her most important job is keeping the staff and, ultimately, the patients happy. She lives in Davidsonville with her husband and daughter.
