Thursday I had to leave the Lake District to journey south. My departure was delayed by a lovely chat I had with my Lake District landlord, Jan. Ultimately I departed around noon, with a roughly four hour journey (plus break) on the Motorways ahead of me. Of course, I arrived in Oxford exhausted at 7 ..... Today I headed southeast from Oxford towards London, around London and finally to Folkestone Eurotunnel Terminal.
