DR. CLARE COSENTINO

In addition to private practice, Dr. Cosentino is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Medical Center. She supervises child & adolescent psychiatry residents at the NYU Child Study Center in cognitive behavioral therapy for children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, mood/emotional regulation challenges, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Cosentino is also the Director of Psychological Services at the Stephen Gaynor School in Manhattan, a specialized independent school for bright children with language based learning differences (preschool through middle school)... Dr. Cosentino received her BA in Psychology with Honors from SUNY Purchase and her MA and PhD in Child/School Psychology from New York University. At NYU, Dr. Cosentino was awarded a teaching fellowship for two consecutive years for a practicum course in School Consultation, in which she supervised doctoral candidates in private and public school placements throughout the city...
