White Cap Ready Mix, Inc was founded in 1976 by Bob Higgins. Realizing the need for concrete products in rural Plumas County, Bob began the business by batching the concrete and driving the truck to deliver the product. In 1980 Dixie joined the company, bringing the needed organization and administration to the growing company... White Cap Ready-Mix manufactures and delivers quality controlled concrete throughout the Sierras and Nevada. Established in 1976, they continue to provide quality concrete, products and related services in two locations, Chester / Almanor, and Portola.
