518 REMODEL is a locally owned and family operated construction company. Our family has been remodeling and building homes since 1978. 518 REMODEL is owned and operated by Sal W. Speciale. Sal Speciale grew up in Colonie and lived in the Capitol district his whole life. When Sal was 9 years old he was always on the job with his family. Whether he was installing concrete or building houses with his uncles, managing roofing and siding jobs with his father or installing windows with his brother, he was always learning first hand about premium workmanship and great work ethics... Sal and his team were wonderful to work with. They showed up when they said they would and were all very polite and respectful of our home and covered and protected the room and hallway leading up to the attic. They disposed of all the old insulation. Our house was immediately cooler. We were and still are extremely happy with the job that they did.
