Dr. Weston Hughes

A Dalton, GA native, Dr. Weston Hughes is very happy to be able to serve the community he has always called home. Dr. Hughes grew up as a patient of Dr. Patterson who inspired him to pursue a career in Dentistry. Dr. Hughes graduated with honors from Northwest Whitfield High School in 2007. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dalton State College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012. Dr. Hughes received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta in 2018. He moved back to Dalton right away and began his practice where he continues to provide a wide array of treatments from all areas of dentistry. Dr. Hughes is married to his high school sweetheart, Lacy. They have two children, Coley and Hanes. Dr. Hughes loves spending time with his family and also enjoys outdoor activities, including golf, hiking, camping, hunting and fishing. Dr. Hughes actively pursues ongoing education in advanced dental topics through his professional memberships in the American Dental Association®, Georgia Dental Association and Northwestern District Dental Society. He received an Award of Merit from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry for the pursuit of excellence in dental esthetics. I especially enjoy being able to practice here in Dalton where I was born and raised. Frank Patterson, Jr

For over 40 years, Dr. Frank Patterson, Jr. has provided general and cosmetic dentistry services to generations of families in Dalton, Chattanooga and surrounding North Georgia and bordering Tennessee communities. The Patterson dental heritage began with Dr. Frank's grandfather, who began practicing dentistry in Covington, Georgia in 1907. Dentist Dad, Dr. Frank Patterson, Sr. further inspired Dr. Frank to continue in the family tradition and attend dental school at Emory University. Following graduation, Dr. Frank Patterson, Jr. established his own dental practice in Dalton, Georgia in 1972. Dr. Patterson is passionate about staying abreast of new technology and techniques dentistry through ongoing training. He has achieved Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, and continues to further his education as a member and past president of both the Tennessee Valley Dental Study Group and Dalton Dental Study Group. He also maintains active membership in the American Dental Association and Georgia Dental Association. As part of his commitment to incorporating current technology into his clinical practice, Dr. Patterson has invested in digital radiography, Waterlase® laser dentistry and a patient video education library enhance our own clinical efficiency and to make our services more convenient for our patients. In 2008, Dr. Patterson climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa and the highest "walkable" mountain in the world. This experience exemplifies his energy and enthusiasm for life and treasuring every moment. At home, Dr. Patterson enjoys growing roses, furniture woodworking and running.
