JUAN CARLOS ARAQUE

My name is Juan Carlos Araque, a Graphic and Web Designer based in Sydney, Australia. Originally from Colombia, I was born on the 22 nd of July of 1983. I studied a bachelor of Graphic Design at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University and a postgraduate degree in Multimedia Creation at the Andes University in Bogotá. I have worked several years in the design field. Since 2004 I have edited video and animated cartoons in a Colombian TV production company. After that, in 2006, I started to work as an Art Director in an incentives company. In 2007 I worked for a government institute graphing maps, designing and diagramming geographical documents. In 2008 I began working in an advertising agency as a Creative Designer. Then in 2009, before I arrived in Australia, I worked in an international agency as a Web Designer. In Sydney I studied a diploma in Web Development at the North Sydney Institute of TAFE. Currently I am studying a Master of Information Technology at the CQUniversity.
