Established in 1982, Richland Academy is an academic and childcare service provider that is guided by the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. Serving children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years, Richland Academy provides a nurturing environment that supports the natural development of each child's social, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and physical growth... Our infant program is called Nido, which is a Montessori term and is Italian for "nest." Our Nido program has 2 options including 3 day and 5 day. Before-care is available for students at an additional rate. Schedules are determined in collaboration with parents and Nido teachers... The Montessori classroom is a child-sized world.
