In 1964, Three Rivers Orthopedic Associates was founded by Dr. Edward J. McClain, Jr. The practice first originated out of Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh and was later moved to St. Margaret Hospital. In 1975, Dr. David R. Kraus joined Dr. McClain as a partner in the practice. Throughout the years, Three Rivers Orthopedic Associates has continued to flourish and is comprised of many of the physicians who had the privilege of being mentored by their future partners, Dr. McClain and Dr. Kraus. Today, the practice has grown extensively and currently includes a total of 11 physicians.
