For over thirty-five years The Margolis Law Firm has been providing quality legal services in two areas: transactional real estate (commercial and residential) and US immigration law, mainly for business people. The roots of this practice extend downward in New York law firm genealogy to the (then) well-known international corporate firm of Whitman & Ransom, founded by Charles S. Whitman the forty-first Governor of the State of New York. As a junior associate of that firm, Jeff was asked to divide his time between real estate matters and corporate immigration cases. So his morning was spent working on a midtown tower office lease and afternoon drawing up a visa petition for an international businessman.
