Cappataggle NS has a long tradition in Gaelic Games having achieved great successes in both hurling and Gaelic football. We also offer the children a wide and variety of other activities such as debating, quizzing, swimming lessons and Ceidlidh Band... We are greatly supported by a strong and active Parents Association and Board of Management whose support we could not work... We are a co-educational school with four mainstream teachers and one ASD Class in the village of Cappataggle, County Galway. Our four classrooms are divided into Infants, 1st & 2nd class, 3rd & 4th class and 5th & 6th class. Our wonderful facilities outside include a large yard, grass pitch & soccer area, garden, and basketball/volleyball court. We also have access to the community Astro-turf & playground .
