Mark thanked previous generations of officers and members for their excellent stewardship of the Association's finances. Following the last reunion there was a positive balance of about $4,000.00. $1,700.00 was paid to the Glenview Park District as deposit for the Lakeview Room at the Park Center, site of our main event celebration on September 14 th. Insurance for the event was also purchased for $263.00. We have a balance of about 2,400.00, however the next payment to the venue is due in four months. Additionally, just before the main event we will have to pay the caterer, which means it will be important for people to purchase their tickets early as it will help our positive cash flow. There is approximately 500.00 set aside in scholarship funds for the event; this will be discussed and planned for as we get closer to finalizing plans. In sum, we are solvent...
