Arafat joined Harwood Capital LLP in April 2018. Arafat has over 25 years' experience in compliance having spent 8 years at the Financial Services Authority (FSA), where he worked on projects such as developing the UK's permissions regime. After leaving the FSA, he went on to work for a number leading financial institutions including Royal Bank of Canada Private Wealth Management Limited in 2007 and Permal Investments Management Ltd in 2010.

Chandra joined Harwood Capital LLP in 2013 and has responsibility for the Finance Department. He has over 15 years of financial services experience having previously worked at Threadneedle Investments and Royal London Asset Management. Chandra is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Charles has been a Director at Harwood Capital Management Limited since September 2017. Charles joined the firm in 2012 as an Investment Analyst. He is now Head of Harwood Real Estate and is responsible for all the private equity investments made by the Group which are not appropriate for our Private Equity Funds. He is a non-executive director of several smaller portfolio companies held by the Group. Charles graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2012 with a degree in Real Estate Management and holds the Investment Management Certificate ("IMC").

Christopher is a member of the Board of Directors, the Chief Operating Officer, and Chairman of the Valuation Committee. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President to the London office of EnTrust Global, managing trading, fund accounting, and operations. Previously, he was a Senior Associate in the Investment Management division of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, providing assurance and advisory services to hedge funds and private equity funds. Christopher is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. He holds a first-class honours degree in Business Management.

Chief Executive Officer and principal shareholder of Harwood Capital Management since 2011. He founded JO Hambro Capital Management with Jamie Hambro in 1993 acting as Chief Investment Officer and Harwood Wealth with Alan Durant in 2013 until their respective sales in 2011 and 2020. He is CEO of North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust ("NASCIT") which he has managed since 1982 and Executive Director of Oryx International Growth Fund which he has managed since 1995. NASCIT has delivered a total NAV per share of nearly 200x under Mr Mills' management and is the winner of numerous Micropal Sunday Telegraph and S&P investment trust awards. He has sat on the Board of over 100 companies during his career including most recently Augean, MJ Gleeson, SureServe, Frenkel Topping and is currently Chairman of EKF Diagnostics and Renalytix AI. He was awarded a scholarship to go to university by Samuel Montagu and has a BA in Business Studies.
Jeremy is a Director of Harwood Capital Management Limited. He joined the firm in 2001 and dedicates his time to investing the Harwood Private Equity funds in the UK's lower mid-market. Jeremy originates, negotiates, executes and monitors transactions. He serves as a non-executive director of several portfolio companies. Jeremy spent nine years at HM Diplomatic Service after serving in the British Army. He holds a degree in zoology from the University of Oxford.

Nicholas joined Harwood Capital LLP in 2019 after spending 5 years at Gabelli Asset Management in New York. He acted primarily as a Research Analyst covering the multi-industrial space and also gained experience in Merger Arbitrage strategies and marketing Closed End Funds. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Boston College's Carroll School of Management. He currently sits on the board of Circassia Group Plc and Hargreaves Services Plc.
Sidney has been a Director at Harwood Capital Management Limited since December 2015. He is also a director of Club-Sagem and Mercator/Nature et découvertes. He was Chairman of CIC Finance, an Investment Fund and a subsidiary of French banking group, CIC - Credit Mutuel and was previously a Director of other investment companies. He has previously been Senior Adviser with Rothschild and co (2012 to 2017); and is now Senior Adviser at Essling Capital.

Stavros has been the Head of Trading at Harwood Capital LLP since 2011. Prior to this he was a Trader at JO Hambro Capital Management from 2000 until 2010. He has sell side experience at N+1 Singer and Piper Jaffray prior to rejoining Christopher at Harwood. He is considered one of the most highly experienced dealers in small and midcap equities in the London Market.
