Catherine Elliott

Catherine is a past pupil of the Rainey Endowed Grammar School, Magherafelt and graduated with a Second Class Honours, Upper Division Degree in Law from Queen's University, Belfast. Catherine joined our firm as a Legal Executive soon after graduating in 2021.

Colleen O'Kane

Job Titles:

Colleen was educated in St Patrick's College Maghera and then went on to study Criminology at QUB Belfast. Alongside her degree Colleen also undertook a legal secretary course and chose to follow this as a career path.

Cormac O'Kane

Cormac is a past pupil of St Patrick's and St Brigid's College Claudy and attended the Northwest Regional College before studying Accounting and Law at University of Ulster, Jordanstown. Cormac graduated in 2020 with a Second Class Honours Upper Division. Cormac joined our firm in 2021 as a Legal Executive and has since commenced his training as an Trainee Solicitor at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Queen's University Belfast. Outside of the office Cormac has a strong passion for woodworking and the restoration of vintage cars.

Emma McCrystal

Emma joined our firm in 2018 as a Legal Executive and commenced her training as an apprentice Solicitor at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Queen's University Belfast in 2020.

Enda McKaigue

Job Titles:

Enda was educated at the local St Patrick's College, Maghera and later graduated with his law degree from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. Enda then attended the College of Law in Chester, England and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. He returned back to Northern Ireland and joined in firm in September 2010 as a legal Executive. He was accepted into the Institute of Legal Professional Studies, Queens University, Belfast and began his apprenticeship with our firm. He obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies with Commendation from the Institute and qualified as a Solicitor. In recognition of Enda's commitment and ability to achieve results for our clients he was appointed Director of our firm in January 2020. Enda has experience in dealing with all areas of law within our practice. He is a former Treasurer of the South Derry Solicitor's Association having held that position for three years and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). Outside of the legal world, Enda has recently retired from a long career playing gaelic football with his club Robert Emmets GAC Slaughtneil and is now a keen runner.

Jane Kelly

Jane was educated at Saint Patrick's College, Maghera, and graduated with her law degree from Queens University, Belfast. Following this, Jane then went on to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at The College of Law in Chester, England.

Joseph Mallon

Following qualification in 2004, Joe returned to Maghera where he joined the firm of Anthony A. McCormick. In 2008 Joe became a partner and the firm was re-branded as Mallon & Co Solicitors.

Linda Convery

Job Titles:
  • MAnager
Linda joined the Firm in 2001 as a book keeper. She progressively became more involved in the day to day running of the business and in 2015 became manager of Mallon & Co.

Louise Breen

Louise joined our firm in 2011 and commenced her training as an apprentice Solicitor at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Queen's University, Belfast. During the course of her studies Louise was awarded first place in the Law Society Solicitor Accounts examination 2014.

Paula McGlone

Paula joined our firm as a Senior Associate in February 2022 and has proven herself to be great addition and valued member of the team. She has a wide range of experience, particularly in Residential/Commercial Conveyancing, Wills and Estate Planning and Litigation.

Tiernan was educated at St Marys Grammar School Magherafelt and then studied in Liverpool John Moores University where he obtained an LLB Honours Degree in Law. Whilst at LJMU Tiernan was involved in various societies including the Law Society, and the Men's Gaelic Society.
