Scott's love of the outdoors and running brought out another side of him as he earned his degree in Athletic Training Education. He ran many cross-country and road races through his college years (and well beyond) with the goal of qualifying for the Olympic trials in the Marathon. Although leg injuries prevented his dream from becoming a reality, it didn't stop Scott from continuing to compete in many running and bicycle races around the United States. Proudly, he still holds the record time in our local White Sands Marathon...
As a Certified Athletic Trainer, as well as, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Scott enjoys working with both athletes and regular folks to help them be able to function at the specific level desired by each individual. His experience as an athlete himself also uniquely qualifies Scott to provide exceptional understanding of the dynamics of injuries and the best possible rehabilitation solutions for them.
