Amy McCarthy, M.S. CCC-SLP is a CA Board-Certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and a member of the American Speech and Language Association (ASHA). She earned a Master of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from San Francisco State University... Children learn best in their natural setting. We provide primarily home, daycare and school-based therapy services. Providing therapy in an environment that is natural and familiar to a child allows the therapy to be fun, engaging and provides for an easy transition of skills into their everyday life... Your child's Speech Therapist is only a part of the therapy process. We provide education and training to all parents, caregivers and educators involved with the child. Carryover and practice play a key role in the success of therapy. Understanding strategies and goals allows everyone to actively engage in the therapeutic process.
