Durnsford Lodge is a friendly comfortable home situated within easy walking distance of the varied facilities in Stoke Village. Care is provided by friendly staff to ensure our Residents are well cared and provided for. Most of our staff are trained to Level 2 in Health and Social Care and are encouraged to develop their skills further to ensure they respect privacy, dignity and independence of the Residents 24 hours a day... We aim to provide end of life care in a warm and passionate manner which demonstrates professionalism, giving support, respect, (love), kindness and finally prioritising the pass-over in a spiritually contented, as peaceful a time for all of those involved in that person's end of life... Durnsford Lodge employs over thirty staff consisting of a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, senior carers, carers, two activities co-ordinators, two cleaners and two cooks. The majority of staff have NVQ's or are working towards gaining Diploma's in Health and Social Care...
