Beginning in Spring 2022, CEHV's new program engages and guides students in the practice of civil discourse. Developed with extensive feedback from students, at its heart are the "4Cs": Be Curious, Be Charitable, Be Conscientious, and Be Constructive. CEHV is training undergraduate Civil Discourse Fellows to plan and serve as moderators in new Civil Discourse Forums featuring speakers who disagree on a contentious issue. We are also offering a new course on civil discourse (ARTSSCI 2400/E) that has nearly 40 students enrolled from 7 different colleges.
