MILES ASSOCIATES - Key Persons
Anthony Miles is Director and founder of Miles Associated Ltd. and has over 30 years' experience working within Financial Services. Many of those years have been spent helping financial advisers develop their propositions for clients in later life.
Anthony has a BA Honours degree in Geography from the University of Durham, an MBA from the Open University (specialising in financial strategy, as well as creativity, innovation and change), holds the Diploma in Financial Planning from the Personal Finance Society, and also holds the Chartered Insurance Institute care qualification CF8.
In recent years, he has held various positions in major product providers, including Head of Strategic Accounts at Prudential plc and Head of Strategic Sales for annuity specialist provider Partnership. Since establishing Miles Associates Ltd in 2014, he has worked with several clients including the professional body for financial advisers and support staff (the Personal Finance Society), where he has developed content for their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme, led their work on the ageing population and later life, as well as supported their collaborative engagement with regulators, government departments and other industry bodies.
Recent client engagements in which Anthony has had major involvement include in-depth consultancy and project work with the Personal Finance Society, and high-level support for a top ten national accountancy firm keen to establish an effective Later Life Advice proposition.
Tony has played a key role in helping to deliver the strategic evolution of the Personal Finance Society and has made a significant contribution to our collaborative engagement with regulators, government departments and other industry bodies. He is a financial services subject matter expert and as such, has helped to redesign new agendas and incorporate business-relevant content for the Society's Continued Professional Development programme, resulting in attendance numbers doubling. - Keith Richards, CEO Personal Finance Society
