A non-profit agency, the Canadian Problem Gambling Certification Board is dedicated to ensuring that individuals seeking assistance for gambling problems have access to professionals who have achieved measured standards in knowledge, skill and competence in problem gambling counselling and who adhere to the highest standards of ethical practice. The Board has created a process that will allow such counsellors to be recognized as certified Canadian Problem Gambling Counsellors... Our board of directors is made up of volunteering professionals who have substantial knowledge and experience working in the field of problem gambling counselling within Canada. Our board of directors is elected by our certified membership to maintain the ethical and quality operation of the Canadian Problem Gambling Certification Board. The board operates through membership committees.
