Christina Morrison joined Day Robert & Morrison, P.C. in 2007 following her graduation from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her admission to the Illinois bar. After receiving a BA in Sociology from Lincoln University, Christina worked as a state social worker for abused and neglected children before embarking on her law school career.
In 2015, Christina was named the DuPage County Bar Association's Lawyer of the Year and, in 2014, was awarded a DuPage County Bar Association Board of Directors Award for distinguished service.
At Day Robert & Morrison, P.C., her career focus has been on zoning and land use, residential real estate transactions and litigation, and general civil litigation in DuPage and the collar counties.
As a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Christina produces and performs in the annual Judges' Nite charity musical benefitting Legal Aid and is a member of the Animal, Local Government and Real Estate committees. Christina is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers, the American Inns of Court and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyer Association.
In addition to her legal career, Christina is the Past President, Committee Chair and a canine foster parent for the West Suburban Humane Society.

Kelli Smith received her BA in political science in 1983 from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. She then attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where she received her JD in 1986. She was later admitted to the Illinois Supreme Court and Northern District of Illinois that same year.
From 1986 - 1997 Kelli served as an attorney and partner with Helm & Day, and focused her practice on real estate transactions, eminent domain, juvenile law, wills and civil litigation. In 1998, Kelli joined the firm of Day & Robert, P.C. as an associate attorney, where she remained through 2005. In 2005 she opened up her own practice as the Law Office of Kelli M. Smith, P.C., and remained of counsel to the firm of Day & Robert, P.C. She continues to focus her practice in probate, guardianship, adoptions, wills and trusts, and maintains an active real estate transactional practice.
Kelli is a twenty year member of the ISBA Committee on law related education, and assists the regional and state mock trial competitions in the State of Illinois. She has authored a variety of mock trial problems for the ISBA Committee on Law Related Education, and has participated in numerous ISBA Law Day presentations. Kelli is also a past editor of the Law Related Education Newsletter.
Rachel Robert brings to Day Robert & Morrison, P.C. a legal career that spans 22 years. In 1988 she graduated with distinction from Valparaiso University in Indiana while earning a BA in International Economics and Spanish. Rachel then graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in 1992, and was admitted to the Illinois bar that same year.
While working as an associate attorney at Hinshaw & Culbertson in Lisle, she focused her legal practice on employment law, medical malpractice defense and general insurance defense before joining Scott Day in his private practice in 1995, and thereafter forming Day & Robert, P.C. in 1998.
For the past 19 years, Rachel's career focus has evolved into land acquisition and eminent domain litigation. She has served as legal counsel on hundreds of voluntary and non-voluntary land acquisitions collectively involving thousands of acres of real estate throughout DuPage, Cook and the collar counties. In doing so, Rachel has advised numerous municipalities, park districts, preservation agencies and not-for-profit entities throughout Illinois. Over her career, Rachel has also gained extensive knowledge and experience in commercial litigation and zoning and development matters, both at the trial court and appellate levels.
Rachel is an avid fan of the outdoors and enjoys running, hiking, doing triathlons and water skiing at her family's Wisconsin lake cottage.
Bob Black's legal career is as impressive as his many academic achievements. He graduated Cum Laude with a BS in journalism from Bradley University in Peoria in 1981, and was then admitted to John Marshall Law School. He served on the John Marshall Law Review and the Order of John Marshall before graduating with distinction in 1985. He was admitted to the Illinois bar that same year.
After serving as a law clerk for the Illinois Appellate Court Fourth District, Bob spent four years working at Hinshaw & Culberton as an associate before establishing a private practice in 1994. He has been the principal attorney at the Law Offices of Robert G. Black in Naperville, Illinois since 1995.
Bob was admitted to the U.S. District Court in 2005, and the United States Supreme Court in 2009. He has been of counsel to Day & Robert, P.C. for over six years, and has engaged in appellate practice before all five Illinois Appellate Districts, as well as the Illinois Supreme Court. Bob has also served as lead appellate counsel on over 200 appeals and at least 80 published opinions.
