Bio Allison B. Newhart serves as vice chancellor and general counsel for NC State University. As the chief legal officer for the university, she leads a team of attorneys providing mission-oriented legal counsel and representation on a wide range of matters affecting the university. In addition, Ms. Newhart's practice includes the areas of corporate governance and Board of Trustees matters, regulatory compliance and strategic risk management, academic affairs, athletics, student and employment issues, policies and litigation. Prior to joining NC State in January 2019, Ms. Newhart served as associate general counsel at Pennsylvania State University, where she focused on labor and employment matters, student affairs, litigation, athletics, and Title IX and Clery Act compliance. Prior to her service at Penn State, Ms. Newhart was in private practice with a law firm in Philadelphia. She is admitted to the North Carolina Bar, Pennsylvania Bar and New Jersey Bar, and is also admitted to practice before various federal courts in those jurisdictions. Ms. Newhart currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA). She is currently vice chair of the Committee on Legal Education, and she served as chair of the Planning Group for NACUA's 2019 Compliance Workshop and on several other NACUA committees. She has also served on the boards of various nonprofit organizations. She is a frequent speaker at regional and national higher education conferences and has authored papers and other publications relating to higher education legal issues. Ms. Newhart received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Lehigh University. She received her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law (now the Charles Widger School of Law), where she graduated Order of the Coif and was a member of the Villanova Law Review.

Boo Corrigan joined NC State as director of Athletics on April 30, 2019. Prior to joining NC State, Corrigan served as director of athletics at West Point for eight years. Under his leadership, Army excelled in competition but also surpassed ambitious fundraising goals, upgraded several facilities, added three varsity sports and created a new brand identity, all while cadet-athletes raised the bar academically.

Brian Sischo

Bio Brian Sischo leads a comprehensive University Advancement organization that incorporates University Development, Alumni Engagement, University Communications and Marketing, and Advancement Services with a hybrid team of more than 250 staff who are embedded centrally and within colleges/units across campus. The organization is responsible for strengthening relationships with alumni, donors, and friends to elevate the NC State brand and build a culture of philanthropy. Under Sischo's leadership, NC State launched the most ambitious fundraising campaign in university history, a $1.6 billion effort to increase scholarship support, fund research and faculty positions, create and revitalize campus infrastructure and increase the university's endowment. At the campaign's completion on December 31, 2021, more than 133,000 donors from all 100 counties in North Carolina, all 50 states and 73 countries had helped the university raise more than $2.1 billion. Sischo has implemented universitywide engagement initiatives such as Red and White Week, a Women in Philanthropy program and a robust volunteer Campaign Cabinet to connect alumni and friends with NC State. Prior to joining NC State, Sischo served as vice president for development at Syracuse University, where he spearheaded the planning, implementation and successful conclusion of the university's first-ever $1 billion comprehensive fundraising campaign. Before joining Syracuse in 2001, Sischo worked for ten years at his alma mater, Clarkson University, where he served as the chief development officer and led two successful capital campaigns. Sischo earned a B.S. in finance and a master's degree in management systems from Clarkson.

Dr. Marc Hoit

Bio In 2008, Dr. Marc Hoit became NC State's first vice chancellor for information technology and CIO. In that capacity he has led the development of a campuswide IT strategic plan and an IT governance structure, and he has launched key foundational projects that have improved the efficiency and effectiveness of IT on campus. He is also a professor in NC State's Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering. Hoit has won numerous awards for both his structural engineering work and his IT efforts. He previously held numerous administrative positions at the University of Florida, including interim CIO, director of student PeopleSoft implementation, associate dean for academic affairs administration and associate dean for research in the College of Engineering. Hoit was the co-principal investigator (with researchers from UNC-Chapel Hill and SAS) for a grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to develop an early-warning system for health-security concerns. He was also the PI for the development of DIGGS, an international-standard XML schema for transferring transportation information, which is now an ASCE Geo-Institute standard. Hoit is chair of the IT Committee for the Southeastern Universities Research Association and was recently an Educause board member. He is a fellow of both the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Structural Engineering Institute. He earned his B.S. from Purdue University and his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Maimone serves as the executive vice chancellor for finance and administration for NC State University, responsible for administering the university's $2.0 billion annual budget and strategic oversight of the university's major business operations units: Budget and Resource Management, Campus Enterprises, Environmental Health and Public Safety, Facilities, Finance, Human Resources and University Real Estate and Development. The Finance and Administration unit comprises more than 1,600 university personnel. Mr. Maimone came to NC State in September 2019, after serving as vice chancellor for business affairs at UNC-Greensboro for the past five years. His more than thirty-five years of service to the public higher education sector include serving as vice chancellor for business affairs and CFO with UNC-Wilmington, and similar leadership roles with the College of William and Mary. Maimone holds an undergraduate degree and Master of Education degree from Kent State University, and he earned his MBA from the College of William and Mary. After retiring from Reynolds American in 2015, Powers joined the Winston-Salem law firm of Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice as the senior government relations consultant before venturing out to form his own public affairs firm in 2017. Timothy Humphrey is currently IBM's Chief Analytics Officer. He is also the senior state executive for IBM in North Carolina and senior location executive for IBM in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, one of the company's largest sites. Active in the community, Tim serves as a board member for many local nonprofit organizations and is a mentor to over 30 global professionals, students and youth. In 2019, he established the Timothy L. Humphrey Women and Minority Engineering Initiatives Award and the Timothy L. Humphrey Inclusion, Equity and Diversity Award. Tim graduated from NC State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and is a member of the NC State Electrical and Computer Engineering Hall of Fame.
