ELVIRA HATZINASIOU

Elvira was born in Athens, Greece; a not so hidden Mediterranean paradise for history and culture yet lacking any significant drive for contemporary theatre. Her passion for the arts and her long lasting affiliation with dance and music soon stirred her towards the U.K. to pursue her life-long dreams of performing. As a bilingual performer she tries to avoid being placed under categories and enjoys embarking on projects that challenge both her nationalities... Her first degree in Writing, Directing and Performance has been a milestone in both her life and her career as a professional. It taught her valuable skills in all three principles and allowed her a variety of experiences in multiple aspects of the theatre industry. She has been lucky to work on projects as a director, assistant director, movement director, dramaturg, writer, lighting and sound designer.
