Diane N. Ward, CPA is the founding member of Ward & Associates, CPA. Diane's expertise is in taxation and tax planning for individuals and closely-held companies, as well as providing accounting services for small businesses.
She has been in public accounting since 1978, beginning her career in the San Diego office of Arthur Andersen and Company. After leaving Andersen, Diane spent a year with a local accounting firm before founding Ward & Associates, CPA in 1982.
Diane was educated at Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. She has also received a Masters of Business Administration with an Accounting specialization from San Diego State University.
Diane is a member of the California Society of CPAs, the International Association of Internal Auditors, the National Society of Accountants, and the Institute of Management Accountants, and the San Diego State Alumni Association. She is also an active community member, serving on the Board of Directors for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, San Diego Chapter, and a former board member of both the San Diego Access Center and the San Diego Jaguar Club.
Diane lives in San Diego with her husband. She is the mother of two grown sons and the proud grandmother of five grandchildren.
