A native of Portland, Oregon, Ms. Webner is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, where she studied with Liang Wang, Robert Botti, and Joseph Robinson. She has also studied with musicians in the Chicago Symphony as a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. While living in Chicago, Ms. Webner was a soloist on WMFT radio, a founding member of the chamber ensemble Tempest Winds, and was principal oboe with the Dubuque Symphony, the Battle Creek Symphony and the Heartland Festival Orchestra...
In 2019 Ms. Webner performed the Vivaldi oboe concerto in C and Gabriel's oboe with the Austin Youth Symphony, and in 2020 performed as a soloist on Haydn's sinfonia concertante with the Austin Symphony.
