School in a Box was founded in South Africa in 2015 with the vision to develop and provide collaborative, scalable educational platforms to connect, equip and empower people in Southern African - in 2020 School in a Box became a branch of Reaching a Generation... We are a Social Business. That means that we work to address a social issue, in this case, education. We aim to be financially self-sustainable, and profits are reinvested in the social focus. The purpose of these profits is to advance the process of giving back to the community in the form of education... Evidence shows that students who read for pleasure perform better in all subjects, even Maths. In response, we are excited to offer learners a digital library for ages 6 to 18; with over 600 books (including audiobooks) in all 11 official languages, with more than 100 of them being English storybooks (including audiobooks).
