TEBRA - Key Persons

Alexander Badillo

Alex believes that the strongest foundation for healing rests in the relationship between client and counselor. A natural communicator at heart, he has a degree in communication from Seton Hall University where he also minored in French. He went on to study law at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School Law, where he earned his juris doctor, then practiced his craft in a variety of settings and states. Yet, he felt unfulfilled by the reality that he was unable to do what he loves most: helping people. Through counseling, he is able to directly engage in conflict resolution rather than conflict creation. Alex completed his Masters in Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. Alex's professional acumen renders him perfectly suited for professionals dealing with high-stress environments. Having worked in several similar backdrops himself, he is intimately aware of the unique stressors, conditions and challenges these individuals face on a daily basis. Yet, his unique style and approach make him well-suited for people from all walks of life. Alex provides counseling for a host of issues, including: substance use, marriage and relationships (including couples counseling), anxiety, depression, workplace difficulties, perfectionism, multiculturalism, LGBTQ+ life and trauma, to name a few. Alex's rich background has taken to nearly all corners of the globe and imbued in him a sense of respect and interest for all cultures. Additionally, he is fully fluent and capable of providing his services in Spanish. * Please note that we will try our best to accommodate any therapist requests, in the event that we are unable to do so please know that all staff have extensive clinical training.
