MARSH PAINTING - Key Persons
A California transplant and long-time Park City resident, Joel started Marsh Painting in 1999 the summer after graduating from college. While his English degree didn't exactly come in handy in the painting business, his summers spent learning the art of painting from his father did. Joel's dad - a teacher who painted houses during his summers off from school - learned the family trade from his father around the same age as Joel.
As a third-generation painter, Joel brings a level of professionalism to the painting trade that sets him apart from other painting contractors. Likewise, Joel's unique approach to the day-to-day intricacies of running a successful painting business has helped him build a team of professional painters who wouldn't want to work anywhere else.
Joel's loyal and trustworthy team of skilled craftsmen is proof-in-point that his philosophy on business (and life) of bringing both levity and joy to the sometimes monotony of the job is what makes living and working in Park City so special. Joel loves living in the mountains and regularly donates his services to local nonprofits.
