ClearNav UK has been set up to retail and support ClearNav products in the UK, with a particular emphasis on the ClearNav Vario (the CNv)... Currently the CNv is one of gliding's best kept secrets and we hope to change that and help promote it worldwide... The original ClearNav MFD was developed and sold by Nielsen-Kellerman who specialised in producing sports-related and weather instruments. The hardware and software for that was developed by some of the old CAI team (Phil Schlosser, Chip Garner). A prototype variometer was also under development in 2010 with work done by more of the old CAI team (Dave Ellis, Phil Schlosser).
