BROAD OAKS NURSERY

Broad Oaks Nursery opened and registered on the 13th May 2014. It required planning permission granting 50 places for children and is currently running at a maximum of 35 children per day ranging from 2 years old to Pre-School. The building has a front car park for four staff and a rear car park for parents and children, plus remaining staff. The nursery has a large outdoor play area which is accessible through the ground floor's rear door. It has steps out onto the large grassed and woodland/forest area. A hand rail has been installed to assist children when using the external steps. Since our last inspection (December 2015), we have made it our mission to make our outdoor area a more inviting and engaging resource for the children who attend. The learning and enjoyment from the children in our forest area has been amazing to see. Our natural climbing resources and uneven surfaces create great opportunities for children to make their own risk assessments. Our mud kitchen provides..
