BARBOUR ARNOLD & COUSINS - Key Persons
Established in 1935, Barbour Arnold & Cousins Lawyers is a boutique legal firm now located in the leafy suburb of East Ivanhoe and provides a range of legal services to business, not for profit organizations, individuals and families.
The firm was established by Mr Cyril Lorimer Barbour, from whom the firm takes its name, following his admission as a barrister and solicitor in the State Full Court on 3 March 1935. By the time of Mr Barbour's retirement in 1997 (at the age of 90) the firm had become Barbour Arnold & Cousins Lawyers and, since the retirement of former partner Peter Henry Arnold in 1999, Neville Cousins has continued the business as the firm's principal. He is ably supported by lawyers and support staff who continue the firm's ethos of "excellence in the Law".
