Henry Lin

Henry is currently a Managing Director at Point B Capital and also serves as CEO of Calico Energy Services. He is an accomplished investor and a strategic advisor to entrepreneur CEOs and founders. As an investor, Henry provides Point B portfolio companies with exceptional know-how and experience in go-to-market strategy and execution, product management, capital formation, venture finance, international operations, and business development. Henry was previously the managing director of an early-stage investment and advisory firm. In the early 2000s, he was a venture advisor to a $200 million Silicon Valley venture fund, advising and supporting portfolio companies in go-to-market planning and execution. Prior to that, Henry co-founded several ventures. Before pursuing his entrepreneurial passion and venture investing, Henry was a program manager at Microsoft Corporation. He was also a senior consultant at Accenture. Henry is also active on the speaking circuit. He has been a guest speaker for the MIT Enterprise Forum Venture Lab, University of Washington Business School's Center for Entrepreneurship and Washington Business Week.

JOHN SONG - CEO

John has been a successful entrepreneur in technology for the past 24 years. During that time he has been involved in 6 different start-ups. The first, ARIS Corporation (a tech consulting & training company), went public on NASDAQ in 1997. Most recently in 2010, he sold his Social Media Intelligence company Intrepid to SDL International, a UK-based digital marketing platform player, remaining onboard as part of the executive board until November 2013. Prior to that that, he had founded ZeroDash1, a consulting company focused on Web Analytics that he later sold to the digital agency Ascentium in 2009. John understands how to build valuable businesses from the startup stage. He leverages his experience to build a compelling and productive work environment. He is an expert in understanding the trends around data story telling.

Pat Roche - CTO

Pat has been dedicated to driving business value from data for the past 25 years through many experiences including roles as a software engineer, enterprise consultant, entrepreneur, and executive. For the past decade he has provided leadership and vision as the CTO and VP of Engineering at a commercial Business Intelligence software company, Noetix Corporation, now Magnitude Software. Building teams and striving to realize the data-driven enterprise are passions for Pat. He has built teams from the ground-up to over 100 dedicated individuals. These teams have spanned software engineering, technical support, consulting services, IT (Information Technology), and technical writing. Driving value from the talent and economic advantage of multiple countries has been paramount in the approach utilizing both outsource partners and building integrated international teams. He has consulted at numerous Global 1000 companies and amassed over 1700 customers in his most recent venture. Culture is person-to-person and Pat will wholeheartedly commit to his team members celebrating the victories and learning from the losses. TenPoint7 will drive value by connecting people and data!

Prof. Dr. Duong Nguyen Vu

Vu is an accomplished scientist with a background in Applied Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence. Over the last 25 years, Vu has held multiple and worldwide research, professorial and management positions across industry, government and academia. Starting with his early career at Schlumberger Lab for Computer Science, Vu has been responsible for several innovations throughout his career. As Head of Innovative Research and a Senior Scientific Advisor at EUROCONTROL, an international organization responsible for pan-European air traffic management, Vu was instrumental in utilizing data to make air transportation systems safer. Equally passionate about education, since 1997 Vu has been involved in research and education in his home country of Vietnam. In 2012, Vu returned to Vietnam and since then heads the John von Neumann Institute (JVN) of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. He's credited having established that country's first MS programs in Computer Science and Quantitative Finance with focus on data analytics. When not teaching or advising, Vu spends his time training for long distance running and biking having most recently completed his first Ironman 70.3 in May 2015.
