Auden House is a large detached Edwardian property that has been adapted and extended over the years to provide accommodation for up to 24 older people with all areas accessible by wheelchair. The home is situated in a residential area of Audenshaw and is in private ownership... The philosophy of Auden House is to meet the needs and promote the independence and quality of life of each individual resident. Whilst living in our protected and caring environment, the dignity, integrity, and self-esteem of each person is respected. All our residents are viewed as intelligent individuals in their tender years, and we aim to "fulfil their golden years"... Auden House offers a huge array of daily activities planned by our dedicated Activities Coordinators. Activities include bingo, arts & crafts, chair exercises, sing-a-longs and gardening.
