Driving With Safety and Respect (DWSR) was founded by Jim Thienes, who is an active law enforcement officer and was a licensed driving instructor for over 20 years. Jim developed this class after seeing a critical need in the justice system to offer an option for offenders that may make our roads safer. Jim believes re-education is a better goal than mere punishment. Presenting critical driving safety information, in a professional and effective manner, is the primary objective of DWSR... Driving with Safety Respect is a fast-paced class that covers a broad range of driving issues in just three hours. The goal is to hit on many, if not all, the major driving infractions and dangerous actions that cause untold harm to other road users.
