In 1940, Northeast Georgia Bank was established. In 1968, Shuratt Whitworth purchased the bank, which also owned a small insurance agency. It has been run as a community bank since. After purchasing the small insurance agency, they purchased many locals and Franklin Insurance Agency, Inc., has been a family owned and operated insurance agency in Northeast Georgia since 1968... We're an independently owned and operated insurance agency with eight locations in Georgia and we've served individuals and businesses for more than 50 years. We're local and we know the communities that we serve. For this reason and others we're able to give our clients the best possible insurance experiences. Another one of the reasons we're able to ensure that our clients have the best experiences is that we apply our knowledge, experience, and personal touch to the products and services that we provide.
