Erik Garcia

Erik Garcia is an Architect, Interior Designer and LEED Accredited Professional BD+C for Rispoli and Associates Architecture, Inc. He has been with the company since 2005. He has worked on a wide array of projects from custom residences, commercial projects, interior renovations, and municipal buildings such as libraries, fire stations and schools. Erik was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale. Ever since he could remember, he envisioned designing his own dream home and constantly drew plans of houses. While growing up, Erik was constantly thinking of ways to improve his own home and gave many suggestions to his parents, some of which were incorporated in the constant remodeling and upgrading of his childhood home. After graduating high school and technical school with a degree in drafting, Erik immediately fell into the workforce where he worked as a mechanical draftsman and then as an architectural draftsman with several engineers. He quickly realized that architecture was a perfect fit and continued on his educational path toward achieving a degree in architecture. Erik earned his Bachelor's degree in architecture from Florida Atlantic University in 2003. While in school, Erik was primarily interested in modern and minimalist architecture and new urbanism. He participated in various competitions and design charrettes. His interests and talents have transpired and influenced his current work. He became a licensed Architect and Interior Designer in 2008 and 2009 respectively. Erik's current responsibilities with RAA include managing various projects at once. Specializing in commercial, institutional and residential construction, architecture and interior design, Erik's main focus is to keep the client-architect relationship at a fully-accessible level while providing exceptional customer service. His over 16 years' experience in architecture including construction document production, construction administration, project management, and interior design and specification writing has proven him as a competent architect and interior designer. Erik is also a LEED Accredited Professional and strives to include sustainable and efficient practices in each of his designs. Aside from his daily duties, Erik also heads the residential department at RAA and enjoys spending time with his clients to produce homes that fit every family's likes, budget and lifestyle. He is known by his clients as a friendly, punctual, honest, trustworthy and loving individual who always goes above and beyond their expectations. Erik ensures to always greet clients with a smile; reassuring them that working with an architect should always be an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.

Joel Grabe

As a Design Associate for Rispoli & Associates, Joel works with our Architects & Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Structural consultants to help develop & design a wide variety of projects to ensure we meet and exceed our client's expectations & standards. Joseph A. Rispoli - President

Joseph A. Rispoli, AIA, President and Principal Architect of Rispoli & Associates Architecture, Inc. founded the company in 1994 and has been involved in design services in Ocala and the surrounding areas for over 33 years. Mr. Rispoli attained a bachelor of design in 1981 from the University of Florida and a Masters in Architecture from the New School of Architecture in San Diego, California in 2009. He is a registered architect in California and Florida as well as a Florida Concrete and Products Association, Inc. Certified Structural Inspector. Joseph specialties include the design and development of public buildings, criminal justice complexes, municipal and educational continuing contracts, emergency operation and emergency communication centers, parks and recreation, adaptive re-use and historic renovations, ADA barrier removals and remediation, as well as programming, design, construction document production, specification writing and construction administration. His extensive knowledge in all of these fields provide his clients with a positive sense of trust and confidence in the high quality product he provides. Joe's leadership skills have greatly benefited the projects he is involved with. He provides a single source of responsibility, coordinating the team's efforts into an integrated force, to promote and foster a team approach through coordination, regularly scheduled meetings, owner participation, quality control and post occupancy evaluations. His 33 years of experience and expertise in thousands of projects is what is most remembered by the clients he serves.
