Birdie "Sissy" Fontenot has been with us since July of 2020, but she has been in childcare for 22 years. She is our Pre K-3 lead teacher. Sissy is certified in childcare management, has her Ancillary, and is a Tier II teacher. She's been married to her loving husband, Lloyd, for 25 years. They have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. One day, Sissy hopes to retire and travel with her husband.

Bob Lansing is the second generation owner of Central Early Learning Center. Central Early Learning Center was founded in 1985 by Bob's parents.
Carley Devall has been with us since 2019 as one of our school age staff members. Carley is no stranger to Central Early Learning Center, as she attended CELC as a child. She is double majoring in Accounting and Finance at Southeastern Louisiana University. She has been dancing for 17 years and is currently a dance teacher at Legworks by Terri.
Kaitlyn Baumy has been with us since 2014 and is currently one of our Preschool lead teachers. Kaitlyn is attending Southeastern and pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. She is CPR certified, and has her CDA credential and Ancillary certificate. After graduating college, Kaitlyn wants to teach 1st or 2nd grade. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and watching Netflix. She has 10 cats and loves each and every one of them. Kaitlyn loves the mountains and would one day like to live in Tennessee.
Kellie Fontenot has been with us since June of 2014. She is a lead teacher in one of our toddler classes. Kellie has an Early Childhood Teaching certificate from Ashworth College, an Ancillary certificate in Early Childhood, is CPR certified, and has taken various training courses in early childhood development. She has two children and 10 cats. In her spare time, Kellie loves reading and visiting historical homes and museums.
Lori Smith has been with us since 2014. She is the mother of two adult sons, Taylor and Copper, and the grandmother of a wild-haired, amazing, granddaughter, Carly. When not working she enjoys singing, gardening in her flower beds, reading, and writing. Because of her love for writing, she composes our monthly newsletters.

Shannon Devall has been with us since October of 2004 and is our CACFP Coordinator. She has a career diploma from Penn Foster in childcare management, an ancillary certificate in Early Childcare, and is a LA Pathways level four teacher. She is also a member of the Childcare Association of Louisiana. Shannon lives with her husband, Rusty, and daughter, Carley. In her spare time, Shannon likes to read, work on crafts, and attend to her succulents.
Terri Reynolds has been our Assistant Director since 2014 and has 21 years of experience in childcare. She has a career diploma from Penn Foster in Childcare Management and her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. Terri is also a fast track trainer for Pathways and has her TS Gold Basic Certificate. She is a class observer for Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K. Terri lives with her husband and two sons, Trent and Clay. In her spare time she is an avid hunter and fisher.
Wanda McIntyre has been with us since 2018 and is our lead Pre-K 4 teacher. Wanda has received her CDA and has a teaching certificate. She has worked in childcare for over 26 years. Wanda has been married to her high school sweetheart for 25 years. They have a daughter named Serenity and two dogs. In her spare time, Wanda enjoys movie and game nights with her family.
