Diogo is a Partner and co-founder of Oaklins Monsanto With more than 18 years' experience in corporate finance and transformation processes in the Portuguese mid-market, Diogo has worked with a number of clients across various industries on M&A and debt raising projects and has advised on several complex turnarounds. Diogo has expertise in retail & consumer goods, business services, food & beverage and healthcare.
Prior to founding Monsanto Capital, Diogo worked at ASK Group in the corporate finance department and in KPMG and Deloitte.
Diogo has a degree in economics from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, a master's degree in finance from ISCTE and an MBA from IESE.

Jorge is a Senior Principal at Oaklins Monsanto with a focus on debt and restructuring mandates. Jorge has more than 30 years of professional experience, mostly as CFO of international business groups.
As CFO, Jorge has an extensive experience in national and international financing processes as well as financial restructuring and revitalization plans. Jorge has performed independent evaluations, for national and international groups, for M&A, restructuring or tax purposes as well as for legal requirements. Jorge has contributed to business revitalization plans, and was co-responsible for an MBO over a French group in Portugal, Spain, and Brazil.
Jorge also has experience in industrial management as general manager of national organizations, and has been an executive and non-executive board member in several national and international companies.
Jorge holds a degree in Economics and Business Management.

He has advised clients in a variety of industries, notably in renewables and infrastructure, chemicals, machinery and equipment, distribution and retail, publishing, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, business services and IT.
Prior to founding Monsanto Capital, João was a founding partner at ASK Group, a Portuguese investment banking firm, where he spent 11 years as head of the corporate finance department. Previously, he worked in international and national investment banks.
João has a degree in Business Management from ISCTE.

Miguel has a vast experience in Corporates, having relevant positions in national and international companies, namely: Hovione Group, OutSystems, Dean Foods Corporation, PepsiCo Inc, Gamesa, Renk-Zanini S.A., among others.

He has advised a wide range of multinational companies investing in and exiting Spain, in various sectors namely: hospitality, TMT, retail and attractions & leisure parks.
Nicholas is a British national and worked in Spain between 1988 and 2013 after being seconded from London by Citicorp Investment Bank to head up its Spanish and Portuguese M&A business. Nicholas sits on several boards of directors of companies based in the UK and Portugal.

Paulo has particular expertise in financial services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, energy, construction & engineering services, real estate and private equity.
From 2015 to 2017, Paulo was Executive Board Member (CFO) of Oitante. Prior to that, he worked for 15 years in corporate finance advisory at two investment banks. He started his career at Arthur Andersen, focused on financial institutions.
Paulo has a degree in Business Management & Administration from the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and did an Executive Program with IMD Business School.
