NEWQUAY MUSEUM

Regrettably lack of volunteers and local support has led to changes in the way the museum operates. This is not all bad news and Newquay Museum is evolving to meet its challenges and increase the number of people we are able to share Newquay's heritage with. Working with our museum partner Kowethas Ertach Kernow our aim is to make information available online to a worldwide audience... Newquay Museum is an entirely volunteer led museum and archive and is not supported by the local town council relying entirely on donations and fund raising... Newquay Museum originally a project set up by Kowethas Kernow Goth Towan Blystra (Newquay Old Cornwall Society) now works with Kowethas Ertach Kernow (Association for Cornish Heritage) allowing it to include far more space and facilities.
