(Doc) Holliday started Winchester Tire & Alignment at 1842 Winchester Road in Memphis, TN. With the help of Bill Ballard as the lead mechanic the business grew rapidly and more room was needed. In 1978 Doc purchased the land next door and built our current building located at 1830 Winchester Road. My brothers and I grew up in the business and all worked in the business for many years. My name is Todd Holliday; I started hanging out at the shop in 1972 when I was in the second grade. As I grew up in the business Bill and other mechanics would teach me different things about vehicles as I would always want to help and get dirty.
