NANYANG ART STUDIO SDN BHD.

At the age of 24, Mr Yap set up Nanyang Art Studio (NAS) in 1955. In 1986, NAS is registered as: Nanyang Art Studio Sdn Bhd. Three of Mr Yap's children, a son-in-law, and loyal staff are now managing the corporation. In 1983, the late Sultan of Selangor, DYMM Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Hisamuddin Alam Shah Al-Haj conferred an honorific Justice of the Peace (JP) title to Mr Yap for his numerous contributions to many communities and NGOs.
