NikNat. Nik is for Nikita and Nat is for Natasha. The creative force behind NikNat Music is a mother and daughter duo that is passionate about music. Nikita, with her daughter's assistance started her first class in 2005 at the India Community Center in Milpitas with 5 kids... The idea was to introduce the young American kids of Indian origin to the basics of Indian music with a view of teaching them music notes, alankaars and simple Hindi songs in a fun way. They carried posters, puppets, and musical instruments to the class to make the class more interactive and visual for the kids. Slowly, the concept grew to more creative learning with musical games, rhythm and movement and the number of kids and classes started growing... Hindustani Classical Vocal Instruction for Children
