STEP ON HIMALAYA - Key Persons
Hari Kadariya, founder of Step on Himalaya, is an enthusiastic and passionate guide with almost a decade of experience in the region. He holds his license as a Trekking Guide from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation from the Nepalese Government. As a local, Hari has a deep knowledge of local communities, the rich history of Nepal, and the surrounding Himalayas. His excellence in communication, cheerfulness, patience and problem-solving nature, allows him to provide a trekking experience that is fun and full of adventure while being able to effectively and efficiently deal with any curveballs along the way.
Step on Himalaya was founded by Hari after years of working for top tourism companies in Nepal, specializing in trekking, hiking, climbing, mountaineering, rafting, and more. In creating Step on Himalaya, Hari seeks to bring the highest quality experience to his clients from education in Nepalese culture, to fun, safe, and successful adventures. He believes "to truly see the beauty of Himalaya, one must Step On Himalaya," and excitedly continues to provide this service to hundreds of clients year-round.
Outside of tourism, Step on Himalaya, through Hari, is invested in local Social Awareness Programs such as Common Ground, Cancer Society Nepal, National Committee of Human Rights, Education Radio Listeners Club, and more. Hari also spends time as the program coordinator of the Cancer Council Nepal (CCN) which aims to support local cancer patients by acknowledging "Cancer does not necessarily mean death. It is possible to overcome this disease and lead a full life."
