Located on over 100 acres in Sauquoit, New York, The Root Farm is an innovative complex that features an equine-assisted therapy center, a diverse agriculture center, an accessible challenge course and rock wall for individuals of all abilities, and much more. Our property provides educational, recreational, therapeutic, vocational, and volunteering experiences... The Root Farm is a non-profit organization that is committed to helping people of all ages and abilities through agricultural, equine, and recreational experiences... Our 17,000 square foot facility features an 8,000 square foot equine center, which is home to our therapeutic and recreational riding programs that are offered year round. For the past 25 years, our horseback riding programs have served countless individuals. In 2016, our services were provided to 450 individuals for a total of 2,200 program sessions.
