Donald Atieno Ouma

Donald is the General Manager of Levanter, where he leads client delivery. Prior to Levanter, he was the Head of Market and Product Development at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE). At the NSE, his achievements included the communications campaign for the very successful initial public offer of the Exchange and the launch of NSE's Growth Enterprise Market for SMEs. He has a MSc. International Securities, Investment and Banking from the University of Reading (England), an MBA from the Melbourne Business School (Australia) and a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine at Orono (USA).

JANET KIMANI - Founder

Janet is a Levanter co-founder. Her experience cuts across Corporate communications, market research and marketing. She has built corporate brands, led sales and marketing campaigns and managed complex communication and change management projects targeted at clients, regulators, government and the public across East Africa. She has held key positions in a variety of industries, most notably development, professional services and telecommunications.

Joe Kimani

Joe is a business development specialist with a strong track record in the structuring businesses for growth. He brings over 20 years' experience in Sub Sahara Africa where he has worked in the telecom, FMCG, financial, ICT and public sectors. He brings executive level experience across different geographies and brings a global outlook to our client engagements.

matthew ward - Founder

Matthew is a co-founder of Levanter and is a trusted growth and reputation advisor to our clients in financial services, fintech, ICT and supply chain. He is running Levanter's UK office and is focused on connecting companies to opportunities across Africa. Matthew has over 20 years' experience in Africa, Asia and Europe, helping start up and scale up enterprises talk to their stakeholders and customers. He is passionate about the transformative power of business in emerging markets and believes in market-led solutions to economic and social development. He is a non-executive director of the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya.
